Rebates
Department of Veterans’ Affairs
Department of Veteran Affairs patients are welcome. A referral is required from your GP. Please present your Gold or White DVA card at the time of your first appointment.
Our podiatrists are registered to provide services for veterans, including treatment, biomechanical assessment, prescription orthotics and footwear referrals.
Private Health Insurance
Podiatry is covered by most health funds. Our electronic HICAPS facilities allow health fund rebates to be claimed on the spot.
VISA, Mastercard and EFTPOS accepted.
Medicare
Medicare has instituted Enhanced Primary Care Plans for those people deemed by their general practitioner to have chronic or complex conditions that affect the feet, or their ability to care for their feet. EPC/CDM plans provide up to five podiatry rebated consultations each year. A referral is required from your GP. Payment for these appointments is required in full at the conclusion of consultation, we will then process the Medicare rebate on the spot and Medicare will deposit $60.35 into your nominated bank account.
For pension card holders, these appointments will be bulk billed and limited to 20 minutes with no out-of-pocket expense.
NDIS
Ashmore Podiatry can provide treatment to clients who are self-managed or plan-managed through the NDIS.
